22@ Update Breakfast

”Design Research as a competitiveness tool in companies” will be the focus of this month’s 22@Update Breakfast.

The October 22@Update Breakfast will focus on how Design Research can make companies more competitive. Mr. Brent Richards, CEO of Design Embassy Europe, will explain the background, development and commercial exploitation of this activity using case studies from the business sector.  Ms. Isabel Roig, general director of BCD Barcelona Design Centre, will represent our innovative company of the month, speaking about the relationship between competiveness, innovation and design, as well as the economic impact of implementing design in companies.

During the breakfast we'll be able to enjoy the presentation of the book 'Best Practices: a new business philosophy, a new society' straight from its author Josep Maria Polo, who has complied the best practices and strategies from a total of 100 companies and institutions of renown prestige in an easy-to-understand manner, among which we find many companies located in the 22@Barcelona district
