• The Innovation Festival launches its European website

  El IF ha lanzado su página web europea con el propósito de crear un portal donde los visitantes pueden encontrar información general sobre el proyecto, aprender más sobre la innovación regional y llegar fácilmente a los sitios web regionales de cada uno de los seis Innovation Festivales. Después del IF Barcelona, organizado por BCD el mes de octubre pasado, las siguientes ciudades en acoger los festivales son Lisboa, Kortrijk y Milán en 2010, y Vilnius y Tallin en 2011.Milan in 2010 and by Vilnius and Tallinn in 2011.

• The Innovation Festival Barcelona reaches 18,000 participants

  The Innovation Festival Barcelona closed its doors on 22 November with a total of 79 activities organized by BCD Barcelona Design Centre and various agents, companies, associations and institutions in the city.
  
  This initiative driven by the European Commission and organized by BCD, has been attended by 18,000 people who participated in various activities such as conferences, workshops, congresses, exhibitions, awards ceremonies and tours designed to stimulate creativity, innovation and talent attraction.

• BDW 09 closes with record participation, attracting more than 1,000 visitors

  The high standard set by the speakers and firms taking part in the Fourth BCN Design Week – organised as part of IF Barcelona – found its reward in the similarly high number of visitors. All participants made interesting contributions, from which a number of conclusions and core ideas were extracted in a summary embracing all the subjects covered at the different sessions.
